The start of a new year means eating a littler better, setting new goals to crush, and to start thinking about how you can leverage video marketing, communications, and training in 2022. Okay, we admit the last one is a little more unconventional, but actually planning out your video goals in advance gives your organization a competitive advantage. And we want 2022 to be your best year yet!

Here are a few of the trends we’re seeing in the market for the new year:

Explainer Videos.

Explainer videos aren’t new, in fact, they have been around for quite a while. But they are still trending and will continue to do so for one simple reason – they work. Explainer videos are super effective at connecting with potential customers by explaining exactly what your business can do for them, elevating you from your competitors, and inspiring your audience to take action. They are also very powerful training tools for employees.

Feel Good Profile Videos.

We’re not talking about just any profile video, but rather one that shares your story in an interesting and personal way. We sometimes refer to these videos as "mini docs" because they go beyond simply telling people about the products and services you offer, they highlight the reason why you do what you do. Video is a powerful tool to that can create an emotional connection with people and in turn, a strong bond meaning you're better able to communicate.

Communicating in a COVID world.

Now we realize everyone is sick of talking about COVID but it is unfortunately the world we live in and will probably be for the foreseeable future. This pandemic has changed the way we communicate with one another. Many people are working from home and a lot of business is now done in a virtual world. During this time video has skyrocketed and will continue to do so, therefore is an essential foundation to any communications plan. The key element here is creating not just any video, but video that is interesting, informative and provides the viewer with some value.
