ChatGPT's Impact on Marketing and Communications

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is a hot topic these days and for good reason. There are high profile experts like Elon Musk and Steve Wozniak that are fearful of the technology stating that it may be a threat to humanity. Once you start playing around with the technology you can see why they have concerns and on the other hand you can also see the benefits.

As a video agency we’re now using it to help write scripts, develop creative and in the future we see it impacting the entire video production process.  Our goal is to embrace it and learn as much about it as we can.

Rather than trying to write about how marketing and communications professionals can benefit from ChatGPT we thought, why not ask ChatGPT. So we typed in the question below and within about 20 seconds this is what we received:

We could have asked ChatGPT to make it longer, shorter, more detailed, etc. and within seconds it would have regenerated new text. It truly is amazing and somewhat scary technology. We're not exactly sure where it's going but the one things we know is that it will impact how we develop marketing and communication content in the future.
